Product Description

When husband David is unfaithful and commits the ultimate betrayal by bringing his mistress onboard Windswept, Caroline’s world is shattered. Weathering life's storms.

It’s not often you read a novel that sticks in your mind for days after it is finished. Windswept is just such a novel. The characters come alive on the pages. You find yourself hoping Caroline and David won’t get back together, then by the next few pages, you hope they do. The hurt Caroline is going through reaches out to the reader, making them hurt with her. The mother’s relationship with her teenage daughter, Lily, is so true. Racette’s knowledge about sailing is vast and lends so much to this book. I wanted to be out on the water, feeling the sun on my face. They face both nature’s and life’s storms through to a perfect ending. I hope to read many more books by this author.
