I agree this book reminds us of the purity and simplicity of love. The characters (Heidi and Michael)are realistic and flawed. Which makes me connect to them. I love the story-line and all of its twists and turns. An overall good read!

What a wonderful story. It takes you back to a time when life was simple but love was still passionate and fulfilling. The characters of Michael and Heidi come alive as they fight their attraction to each other...and keep showing all the reasons they need to be together. This is a time period that isn't written much about but is unobtrusively woven throughout the story--a character on its own. I highly recommend this book but be prepared--you're not going to want to put it down.
