A Wife by Christmas is an historicl romance novella with all the punch and passion of a full length novel. The conflict keeps amping up, and the characters rise to every challenge with humor and honesty. Ellie Henderson is a woman far ahead of her times, and while her political inclinations vex her boss, Max, they also reveal her fine mind and kind heart. Add those attributes to her unique beauty, and his plan to marry her off turns into a desire for something else entirely! The writing is tight and compelling: the tone is pure romance.
