Debby Deborah Gilbert

Founder and Senior Editor Deborah Gilbert graduated from Nazareth College, magna cum laude, with a B.S. in English and an M.S. in Reading. She taught high school English for sixteen years and joined RWA in 1998. Noting the tightening New York market and the trend toward digital publishing, she opened Soul Mate Publishing in October, 2011. She is currently seeking submissions in all areas.

Cindy Cynthia Brannam

After nineteen years of analyzing, selling, and marketing books within the wholesale industry, Cynthia turned her love for reading into writing and now editing. She’s looking for fresh voices in Chick Lit, Women’s Fiction, Contemporary and Historical romance - all heat levels. (No erotica, F/F, M/M or multiples.)

Char Char Chaffin

Char Chaffin studied Journalism and English Literature at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has over ten years’ writing and critique experience, belongs to several writing groups and is a member of RWA, including Alaska Romance Writers, RWA-Women’s Fiction, and Central NY Romance Writers. She is an avid reader with a fondness for horror and science-fiction as well as romance and erotica.

As an editor, Char welcomes all genres, and is constantly on the lookout for imaginative, edgy, romantic passion that will sweep her away. Paranormal/fantasy is also a favorite of hers.

A published author, Char writes mainstream/contemporary romances with strong yet flawed heroes and heroines who find each other against all odds. She is currently working on her third novel. Char lives in Upstate New York on a hundred-forty-year old farm, with husband Don and Rat Terrier Daisy Mae.

Garrett Garrett Marco

Garrett graduated studying English and creative writing at the University of Oregon. He has worked as an editor for literary journals, as a freelance manuscript editor, and is himself a writer of fiction. He attends local writing groups and is a member of the Wordos science fiction and fantasy group.

With seven years of editing experience, Garrett seeks only one thing in fiction: good writing. Every genre, every style is welcome as long as it is written well. He enjoys strong characters with depths, and stories that stand to test these characters.

ShawnnaShawnna Perigo

Shawnna has a background in the medical field and has earned her writing stripes the old-fashioned way–lots and lots of hard work, baby! She has won a few awards, is still writing her books the way she wants, and lovin’ every minute of it. And she’s proud to say she’s even achieved her dream of becoming an editor. Who knew?

She has a love of sass and edgy, strong heroes. She is open to just about anything except historical and has enjoyed books from multiple genres because, hey, good writing is good writing. But, she prefers Contemporary and erotica and it’s a must to make herfeelsomething.

Stella  Stella Riley

Born a stone’s throw from the Acropolis, transplanted to the Texas Gulf Coast, Stella is descended from refugees and rednecks.

She’s looking for fresh voices in Paranormal and Urban Fantasy, first and foremost.

With secondary choices in all other genres, including multicultural. She welcomes authors with a fresh voice or a new approach. All heat levels are acceptable.

Stella is eagerly anticipating Soul Mate’s advent into the world of YA publishing.

Cheryl Cheryl Yeko

Cheryl Yeko received her Administrative Assistant Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College, in Wisconsin, as well as a Paralegal Certification through the American Institute For Paralegal Studies. She has over twenty-five years as a Legal Assistant, involving the drafting of legal correspondence and court documents. She belongs to several writing groups, and is a member of RWA, as well as Pro-Liaison for the Wisconsin Chapter.

Cheryl lives in Wisconsin with her husband Patrick. She loves to read, play piano, and spend time with family and friends. She enjoys novels with fast-paced action and steamy romance, protective alpha men and strong heroines.

Her debut novel, Protecting Rose, won the 2012 Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence in the Romantic Suspense category.

As an Editor, Cheryl welcomes Romantic Suspense, Paranormal, Sci-Fi, Contemporary, and Erotica.
